Geo Dept. Sap Bucket

Geo Department Sap Bucket is an abstraction of a poem that was published in Dialogue Calvin’s Creative Arts Journal. For this project I was really interested in enticing the reader to try to read the piece, even if it was blurred, cut up, and warped. Geo Dept. Sap bucket is in color and I only used the type that was in the poem to abstract. For example the chatter on the outskirts of the piece are the insides of the letters “A” and “B.” The most legible phrases of the poem are my favorites and theWn they get more and more illegible from there on, that’s to represent where in the poem I started to get lost as a reader.
